At last the ball reached Mjölnir Martelo at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Denmark. 1-1. After some careless play in the Brazil defense, Stuart Byman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isaac Ferreira. The Brazil fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isaac Ferreira should have stopped the shot. Isaac Ferreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stuart Byman, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. The Brazil players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Denmark were winning 1-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stuart Byman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The excitement rose when Brazil's Moisés Santana after 64 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Denmark's goalkeeper to hold. Nils Elmhuus came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Brazil's Maurinho Mendonça. But to his dismay, Maurinho Mendonça quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. Isaac Ferreira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Rana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
