Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) Brazil's Benjamin da Fonseca started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Stuart Byman scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Isaac Ferreira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Børge Buhr recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 13 minutes into the match, Brazil's Benjamin da Fonseca sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nils Elmhuus narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Brazil's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Moisés Santana in the 14th minute. At last the ball reached Mjölnir Martelo at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Denmark. 1-1. After some careless play in the Brazil defense, Stuart Byman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isaac Ferreira. The Brazil fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isaac Ferreira should have stopped the shot. Isaac Ferreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stuart Byman, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Nils Elmhuus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin da Fonseca in the 28th minute of the match. Marquinhos Xande helped the player get up and apologised. 44 minutes into the game, one of Brazil:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 46th minute there was a penalty for Denmark. Danny Grønnow stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Isaac Ferreira. 1-3. The Brazil players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Denmark were winning 1-3.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stuart Byman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin da Fonseca in the 51st minute of play forced Denmark's goalkeeper Nils Elmhuus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Denmark's zone, Benjamin da Fonseca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nils Elmhuus came out of the goal and Benjamin da Fonseca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Isaac Ferreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stuart Byman in the 56th minute of the match. Denmark made a substitution. Sigismund Ravnskjold replaced Danny Grønnow. Brazil's Maurinho Mendonça was substituted for Benjamin da Fonseca. The excitement rose when Brazil's Moisés Santana after 64 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Denmark's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 2-3. Nils Elmhuus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maurinho Mendonça, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Martin Rana got free with Isaac Ferreira in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nils Elmhuus came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Brazil's Maurinho Mendonça. But to his dismay, Maurinho Mendonça quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. Isaac Ferreira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Rana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
