After the first half DINAMO were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Oscar Prestes made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, DINAMO's goal looked a bit too open when Jairo Cardoso came free, but Horea Hurmuzache reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jairo Cardoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 61 minutes into the match, Oscar Prestes notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of DINAMO's Horea Hurmuzache. In the 91st minute, Emanuel Ardeleanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jairo Cardoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horea Hurmuzache having to interfere.
