After 12 played minutes Kingpins got a freekick which was hit by Mao Hai Zhen. After a rather tough play, Kingpins's Ulf Kling got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 28th match minute, Qjos MiLLano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Murdock Sinden to maneuver through the defense. Qjos MiLLano's Reynaldo Iraunkor was substituted for Ricardinho Matorin. Harry Sjö went to the cornerflag to take it. Kingpins's Harry Sjö was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dário Neiva in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cléberson Zanette to strike the kick off in the second half. If Victorino Euloxu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victorino Euloxu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dário Neiva having to interfere. 58 minutes into the match, Qjos MiLLano's goalkeeper Dário Neiva had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Victorino Euloxu. Bixente Poli came out of the goal and Cléberson Zanette tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dário Neiva made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Victorino Euloxu sent off a good shot on target. The Kingpins supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Kingpins would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
