An unexpectedly hard shot by Cuma Han in the 11th minute of play forced Boom Shaka Laka's goalkeeper Carl Forsberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edmond Bezik in the 21stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tamer Siraceddin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 29th minute, Eriberto Almeida hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carl Forsberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hüseyin Can Timurkan in the 33rd minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Boom Shaka Laka's Tamer Siraceddin threw himself towards the right post 43 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Baltasar Derwin, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Boom Shaka Laka's Carl Forsberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hüseyin Can Timurkan in the 46th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Baltasar Derwin scored 1-1 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tamer Siraceddin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Salim Yaşar kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elliott Drake in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tamer Siraceddin saved Los Tatangelos from getting behind. Los Tatangelos's Tamer Siraceddin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baltasar Derwin in the 61st minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Los Tatangelos's goal looked a bit too open when Elliott Drake came free, but Tamer Siraceddin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elliott Drake received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Tamer Siraceddin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Boom Shaka Laka fans' excitement grew in the 73rd match minute when Boom Shaka Laka's Elliott Drake looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
