Thanks to some nice moves Caio Vergílio could shoot a difficult shot in the 35th minute, which Natalio Mitxaut however easily saved by the left post. The supporters of SAN LORENZO FC booed when BRASIL.Sp was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gláuber de Carvalho didn't get a good kick on the ball. 47 minutes into the match, BRASIL.Sp's goal looked a bit too open when Casimiro Jenaro came free, but Wilson Quadros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Wilson Quadros stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Casimiro Jenaro's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. Pedro Varela's late challenge caught a SAN LORENZO FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pedro Varela helped the player get up and apologised. After 93 played minutes BRASIL.Sp got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Varela. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
