Paolo Maldini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Fidel Lecea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Danilo Domingues took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Veronica Sabugo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Michel Batistuta kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Michel Batistuta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Fidel Lecea made a huge save. After 36 played minutes Meninos De Cotia got a freekick which was hit by Carlinhos de Salles. Moisés Yañez did an outstanding performance 37 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 0-1 to the right of an irritated Danilo Domingues in the goal. The throw-in from Samuel Nocedo in the 40th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Meninos De Cotia's Paolo Maldini. Loja S.C.'s Fidel Lecea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremias Seco in the 44th minute of play. Loja S.C.'s Fidel Lecea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Loja S.C. from getting a goal against them.

A collision led to Loja S.C. getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Rene Carrandi hit a great ball. After 63 played minutes Meninos De Cotia got a freekick which was hit by Vilgot Cane. Loja S.C.'s Fidel Lecea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michel Batistuta in the 92nd minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Meninos De Cotia's goalkeeper Danilo Domingues had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Veronica Sabugo. In the 94th match minute, Meninos De Cotia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlinhos de Salles to maneuver through the defense. Loja S.C. succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Meninos De Cotia had controlled the match.
