The supporters of DINAMO booed when Meninos De Cotia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Frank didn't get a good kick on the ball. Horea Hurmuzache showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeremias Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. When the match clock showed 41 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Michel Batistuta sped through DINAMO's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Horea Hurmuzache. Mihail Pelin's late challenge caught a Meninos De Cotia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mihail Pelin helped the player get up and apologised. Horea Hurmuzache took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeremias Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Meninos De Cotia's Paolo Maldini managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Mihail Pelin in the 47 minute of the game. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

Horea Hurmuzache was left in no man's land by his defense there! Meninos De Cotia's Niceto Lando was substituted for Jeremias Seco. Meninos De Cotia's Paolo Maldini managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Mihail Pelin in the 77 minute of the game. Horea Hurmuzache made an important save on a dangerous shot by Michel Batistuta in the 78th minute. Michel Batistuta who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 79thth minute tested the skills of Horea Hurmuzache when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 83 minutes into the game, Michel Batistuta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-10. Meninos De Cotia played a much better game than DINAMO and deserved their victory. The DINAMO players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
