In the 18th minute, Eusébio Andrade got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pedro Luiz Teles's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Giovanni Cearense read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. After 22 played minutes LRCA Office Club got a freekick which was hit by Juninho França. 25 minutes into the game, Chico Carneiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Flamengo FSCMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LRCA Office Club the free kick. Chico Carneiro kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Eusébio Andrade kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Luís Fábio Silveira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rafinha Godoi in the 31st minute. After 32 played minutes Flamengo FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Celso Nascimento. 34 minutes into the game, Flamengo FSCMZ's Aquiles Leonidas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Giovanni Cearense made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Giovanni Cearense came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Flamengo FSCMZ's Pedro Luiz Teles. But to his dismay, Pedro Luiz Teles quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Giovanni Cearense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aquiles Leonidas in the 43rd minute of the match. Aquiles Leonidas took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Giovanni Cearense. Giovanni Cearense dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rafinha Godoi to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Pedro Luiz Teles had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Giovanni Cearense. LRCA Office Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pedro Luiz Teles was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Juninho França during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 58 played minutes LRCA Office Club got a freekick which was hit by Juninho França. In the 61st match minute, Flamengo FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Luiz Teles to maneuver through the defense. Giovanni Cearense came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Flamengo FSCMZ's Pedro Luiz Teles. But to his dismay, Pedro Luiz Teles quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aquiles Leonidas in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Giovanni Cearense prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Celso Nascimento could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Giovanni Cearense made a huge save. Aquiles Leonidas in the 89thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Giovanni Cearense, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 90 minutes into the match, LRCA Office Club's goalkeeper Giovanni Cearense had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Celso Nascimento. When Flamengo FSCMZ's Pedro Luiz Teles in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye LRCA Office Club's goalie prevented a goal.
