A wasted opportunity for Rot-Weiss-Essen. After 6 played minutes Ben West rounded Rot-Weiss-Essen's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Uwe Ziege made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ben West in the 10th minute of play. Pau Doku's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Uwe Ziege read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Piotr Noworolnik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Björn Mokros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Björn Mokros in the 13th minute of play forced Odważni's goalkeeper Piotr Noworolnik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 2-0 became the score in the 15th minute when Pau Doku elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Ben West put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Uwe Ziege. Damazy Zawaski struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Uwe Ziege didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Odważni. In the 25th minute, Odważni's Ben West ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Uwe Ziege. Uwe Ziege yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. Uwe Ziege made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ben West in the 28th minute of play. Arnold Hemmen hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Ben West kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Uwe Ziege. That made the score 5-0 in the 31 minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ben West in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Uwe Ziege saved Rot-Weiss-Essen from getting behind. Ben West could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Uwe Ziege made a huge save. Rot-Weiss-Essen's defense didn't have a chance, in the 37th minute, when Ben West scored to the left of an out of position Uwe Ziege, making the score, 6-0. With a little luck, Rot-Weiss-Essen's Uwe Ziege got control of the ball when Pau Doku tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Rot-Weiss-Essen's Ivo Claus got a free kick in the 45th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The wind increased when Ivo Claus made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Rot-Weiss-Essen's goalkeeper Uwe Ziege, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 57 minutes into the game, Vasco Jackisch was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rot-Weiss-Essen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Odważni the free kick. In the 61st minute Ben West shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uwe Ziege saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Uwe Ziege made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. In the 77th minute, Arnold Hemmen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Uwe Ziege was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-0. Ben West received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Uwe Ziege tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Piotr Noworolnik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Björn Mokros in the 82nd minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Pau Doku made a precise shot to the right of Uwe Ziege. Rot-Weiss-Essen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 11-0. 88 minutes into the game, one of Odważni:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Piotr Noworolnik had in the 91stth minute some difficulties stopping Hannes Kapell's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. If Pau Doku had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Uwe Ziege showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pau Doku in the 94th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pau Doku in the 95th minute of play forced Rot-Weiss-Essen's goalkeeper Uwe Ziege to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Uwe Ziege made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pau Doku in the 96th minute of play. There was no doubt that Odważni were the better team. Odważni's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
