Basilio Justin was out of position in the 6 minute of play, and Carlos Santana capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Carlos Santana really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Atlanta's Bernardo Ranolfo got a free kick in the 11th minute. Basilio Justin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Santana in the 12th minute of the match. Gaston Joanes's late challenge caught a Forever Tango's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gaston Joanes helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Forever Tango booed when Club Atlético Atlanta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaston Joanes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Club Atlético Atlanta defense, Carlos Santana kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Basilio Justin. The Club Atlético Atlanta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Basilio Justin should have stopped the shot. Carlos Santana's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 23rdth minute, Basilio Justin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Jonatan Felipo fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Atlético Atlanta's protests and gave Jonatan Felipo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 26th minute, Jonatan Felipo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Basilio Justin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlos Santana's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. In the 35th minute, Carlos Santana ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Basilio Justin was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Carlos Santana's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Basilio Justin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. The supporters of Forever Tango booed when Club Atlético Atlanta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eustaquio Gerazan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ulises Remir recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Blas Havier's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Basilio Justin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carlos Santana was the one to do the kick off. 50 minutes into the match, Blas Havier had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Basilio Justin. Club Atlético Atlanta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Blas Havier was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Blas Havier took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Basilio Justin. Basilio Justin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atlético Atlanta's zone, Blas Havier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Basilio Justin came out of the goal and Blas Havier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Club Atlético Atlanta defense, Blas Havier kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Basilio Justin. The Club Atlético Atlanta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Basilio Justin should have stopped the shot. After 72 minutes, Leonardo Paulin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atlético Atlanta and the Forever Tango players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Atlanta's Leonardo Paulin got a free kick in the 72nd minute. 73 minutes into the game, one of Club Atlético Atlanta:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Basilio Justin had in the 74thth minute some difficulties stopping Ulises Remir's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Basilio Justin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blas Havier in the 75th minute of the match. Gualterio Mikolas kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Basilio Justin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Blas Havier, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Basilio Justin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Santana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute, Carlos Santana ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Basilio Justin was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. A collision led to Forever Tango getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Gualterio Mikolas hit a great ball. Blas Havier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Basilio Justin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The attack was good, but when Josef Müller in the 97th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. There was no doubt that Forever Tango were the better team. Forever Tango's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
