Keylor Navas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Saverio Kauldi's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Basilio Cordario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilfredo Ebardo in the 23rd minute of play. Keylor Navas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saverio Kauldi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nicanor Vidal's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Basilio Cordario firmly grabbed it by the left post. NECKER49's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Arturo Erramu in the 27th minute. The supporters of NECKER49 booed when Anga FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saverio Kauldi didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prudencio Mónos in the 37th minute of play forced NECKER49's goalkeeper Keylor Navas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 38 played minutes Anga FC got a freekick which was hit by Nunez Fraco. If Prudencio Mónos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Anga FC's Raul Erramun was substituted for Prudencio Mónos. Anga FC made a substitution. Goel Mahal replaced Saverio Kauldi. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wilfredo Ebardo to make the kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Anga FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matías Kranevitter to maneuver through the defense. Paulo Ospin's late challenge caught a Anga FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 57thth minute of the game Nicanor Vidal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Anga FC's Basilio Cordario was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Julio Mingo sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Keylor Navas threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Julio Mingo this time. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicanor Vidal in the 61st minute of play forced Anga FC's goalkeeper Basilio Cordario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Goel Mahal in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Keylor Navas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Goel Mahal put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Keylor Navas. Anga FC's Côme Berga was substituted for Julio Mingo. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Goel Mahal in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Keylor Navas saved NECKER49 from getting behind. In the 75th minute Nicanor Vidal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basilio Cordario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arturo Erramu charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arturo Erramu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Arturo Erramu kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 85th minute of the match Anga FC got a corner. NECKER49's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nunez Fraco ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Nunez Fraco got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Keylor Navas quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Anga FC's Raul Erramun in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye NECKER49's goalie prevented a goal. In the 92nd minute, Goel Mahal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Keylor Navas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Basilio Cordario took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franco Muñoz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 96 minutes, Nicanor Vidal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the NECKER49 and the Anga FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nicanor Vidal kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Anga FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
