Stein Naas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delmar Duarte, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Delmar Duarte scored 0-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stein Naas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 19th minute, Camilo Marin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stein Naas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 23 minutes into the game, Furia Calamar's Erubiel Matthew nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stein Naas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. 26 minutes into the match, Erubiel Matthew had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stein Naas. Legia Stavanger's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Erubiel Matthew was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. In the 29th minute Ronaldo Martínez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stein Naas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Delmar Duarte got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Markus Tømmervik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damaso Panfilo having to interfere. A collision led to Legia Stavanger getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Jon-Erik Boge hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Camilo Marin in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stein Naas saved Legia Stavanger from getting behind. After 36 played minutes Legia Stavanger got a freekick which was hit by Edvin Vedå. The Furia Calamar fans' excitement grew in the 37th match minute when Furia Calamar's Camilo Marin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Camilo Marin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Markus Tømmervik in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Damaso Panfilo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Markus Tømmervik was the one to do the kick off. Damaso Panfilo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kristoffer Løkkeberg in the 52nd minute of the match. 55 minutes into the match, Erubiel Matthew had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stein Naas. After 84 played minutes Ronaldo Martínez rounded Legia Stavanger's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-10. 87 minutes into the match, Legia Stavanger's goalkeeper Stein Naas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Camilo Marin. When Camilo Marin got free in front of the goal in the 88th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Stein Naas was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Delmar Duarte did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-11 to the left of a surprised Stein Naas 90 minutes into the match. 94 minutes into the game, Delmar Duarte recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Stein Naas. Delmar Duarte showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-12. Furia Calamar's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
