Funheitu Tærnar's Hallmundur Línbergsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Przemyslaw Hajduk in the 3rd minute of play. Gafur Alatays short, quick shot in the 5thth minute got Hallmundur Línbergsson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Hallmundur Línbergsson made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Zhou Zheng Feng sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Barbaros Hisar managed to get in a good position for a shot. BeyoğluJK's supporters rose to their feet, but Barbaros Hisar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hallmundur Línbergsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 12th play minute Gafur Alatay came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Hallmundur Línbergsson. 1-0. Gafur Alatay who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 18thth minute tested the skills of Hallmundur Línbergsson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A collision led to Funheitu Tærnar getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Guðleifur Skorrason hit a great ball. A hard shot 24 in the game by Gafur Alatay from a close distance when the talented Hallmundur Línbergsson managed to make a qualified save. Funheitu Tærnar's players were relieved. After 25 minutes, Reimar Freysson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Funheitu Tærnar and the BeyoğluJK players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of BeyoğluJK booed when Funheitu Tærnar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reimar Freysson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gafur Alatay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hallmundur Línbergsson having to interfere. Gafur Alatays short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got Hallmundur Línbergsson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gafur Alatay got free with Hallmundur Línbergsson in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hallmundur Línbergsson was a little too slow when Gafur Alatay got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 38th minute. The score was now 3-0.

Hallmundur Línbergsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gafur Alatay's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. Gafur Alatay scored 5-0 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hallmundur Línbergsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gafur Alatay in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hallmundur Línbergsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 59 minutes into the match, Funheitu Tærnar's goal looked a bit too open when Gafur Alatay came free, but Hallmundur Línbergsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Trúmann Finnbjörnsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Okaner Candar having to interfere. 64 minutes into the match, Garri Þorbergsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Okaner Candar. BeyoğluJK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Garri Þorbergsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. After 70 played minutes, BeyoğluJK's Mehmet Ediz Bilgiç shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hallmundur Línbergsson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in BeyoğluJK reached it. BeyoğluJK's Okaner Candar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save BeyoğluJK from getting a goal against them. 73 minutes into the match, Gafur Alatay notched a goal, 7-1, to the right of Funheitu Tærnar's Hallmundur Línbergsson. Hallmundur Línbergsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hallmundur Línbergsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gafur Alatay's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Funheitu Tærnar's zone, Gafur Alatay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hallmundur Línbergsson came out of the goal and Gafur Alatay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Ragnar Finnbogason had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute Zhou Zheng Feng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hallmundur Línbergsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The attack was good, but when Gafur Alatay in the 94th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Gafur Alatay blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hallmundur Línbergsson having to make a save. For all the effort they put into the match, the Funheitu Tærnar players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for BeyoğluJK.
