Tonko Petrlin kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Gabrijel Jovanovski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rony Rüşti in the 20th minute of play. Leandro Custódio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cvjetko Štokić, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Lipovljani's Renato Vince got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 30th minute, Domenico Giannotti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Valter Vidulić made in the 36th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Nikifor Kulaksúzov. Leandro Custódio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tonko Urban in the 39th minute of the match. Leões do Sul 53's Leandro Custódio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cvjetko Štokić in the 41st minute of play. 43 minutes into the game, Leões do Sul 53's Rony Rüşti nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gabrijel Jovanovski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

Lipovljani made a substitution. Egon Škare replaced Valter Vidulić. Lipovljani's Hugo Duardo was substituted for Tonko Urban. Cvjetko Štokić's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leandro Custódio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rune Olofsson got free with Gabrijel Jovanovski in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
