After some careless play in the Lagrima en Jarrita defense, Benedicto Naelio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Loco Malo. The Lagrima en Jarrita fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Loco Malo should have stopped the shot. Clemencin Duran hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. After the first half Lagrima en Jarrita were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leonello Messias stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nestor Fabbri lost his temper 73 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card.
