Tiburcio Jakue made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikolaj Budzynski in the 13th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in KS LEW Chorzów's zone, Gwidon Patora stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wit Kasperowicz came out of the goal and Gwidon Patora tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wit Kasperowicz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gwidon Patora's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. After 18 minutes, Gwidon Patora made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. KS LEW Chorzów's Wit Kasperowicz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. KS LEW Chorzów's Wit Kasperowicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gwidon Patora in the 21st minute of play. Wit Kasperowicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Liu Zhi Guang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wieslaw Maziarski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Tiburcio Jakue made a huge save. 30 minutes into the match, Veth Crystals's goal looked a bit too open when Mikolaj Budzynski came free, but Tiburcio Jakue reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mikolaj Budzynski in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tiburcio Jakue saved Veth Crystals from getting behind. 41 minutes into the match, KS LEW Chorzów's goal looked a bit too open when Raul Loramendi came free, but Wit Kasperowicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 43 minutes, Gerhard Vejs mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KS LEW Chorzów and the Veth Crystals players grew even worse after the yellow card.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mikolaj Budzynski to strike the kick off in the second half. Wit Kasperowicz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Liu Zhi Guang in the 51st minute. Tiburcio Jakue made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wieslaw Maziarski in the 55th minute of play. A collision led to KS LEW Chorzów getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Juliusz Cuber hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gwidon Patora in the 60th minute of play forced KS LEW Chorzów's goalkeeper Wit Kasperowicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wit Kasperowicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gwidon Patora, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 64th minute Wieslaw Maziarski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiburcio Jakue saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Veth Crystals made a substitution. Gabriel Vaz replaced Cyryl Zielinski. Maksymilian Kasprzak thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Tiburcio Jakue, a very annoying self made goal in the 69th minute which led to 1-1. If Raul Loramendi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gerhard Vejs was shown his second yellow card after 75 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 76 played minutes KS LEW Chorzów got a freekick which was hit by Gerhard Vejs. Florian Ciempa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Wit Kasperowicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wit Kasperowicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raul Loramendi in the 80th minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, KS LEW Chorzów's goalkeeper Wit Kasperowicz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Liu Zhi Guang. The audience was convinced that Raul Loramendi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wit Kasperowicz was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. When the final whistle sounded Veth Crystals left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than KS LEW Chorzów.
