In the 12th minute, Cvjetko Štokić left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lipovljani fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cvjetko Štokić in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg You Sheng Qi saved La Herradura FC from getting behind. You Sheng Qi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tonko Urban, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute Nikifor Kulaksúzov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but You Sheng Qi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ladislao Jaunti was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 45 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in La Herradura FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 45th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Lipovljani a penalty, 47 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Cvjetko Štokić, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of La Herradura FC's You Sheng Qi. 1-3. Lipovljani's Egon Škare was substituted for Valter Vidulić. The La Herradura FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Lipovljani were winning 1-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Osvaldo Grillo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Osvaldo Grillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Gabrijel Jovanovski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. You Sheng Qi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cvjetko Štokić in the 73rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Arsen Vukša managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lipovljani's supporters rose to their feet, but Arsen Vukša was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. You Sheng Qi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 78 played minutes La Herradura FC got a freekick which was hit by Efrain Gotzon. In the 82nd minute, Osvaldo Grillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gabrijel Jovanovski was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. La Herradura FC's Osvaldo Grillo got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 91st minute, Osvaldo Grillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 96 minutes into the match, Osvaldo Grillo notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of Lipovljani's Gabrijel Jovanovski. Gabrijel Jovanovski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
