Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Pedro Pelayo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filip Josefsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 9 minutes into the match, PINGO PINGO's goal looked a bit too open when Osvaldo Bernat came free, but Dionisio Raphael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Filip Josefsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 14th minute, Osvaldo Bernat reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dionisio Raphael. The goal made the score 1-0. Pedro Pelayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filip Josefsson in the 17th minute of play. After some careless play in the Stellenbosch defense, Filip Josefsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Pelayo. The Stellenbosch fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Pelayo should have stopped the shot. When PINGO PINGO's Filip Josefsson in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Stellenbosch's goalie prevented a goal. In the 26th minute PINGO PINGO were awarded a corner. Loukas Karaliopoulos went to the cornerflag to take it. Juan Fernando Quinteros's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dionisio Raphael firmly grabbed it by the left post. Dionisio Raphael made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Fidel Martxelin sent off a good shot on target. Filip Josefsson hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. 41 minutes into the match, PINGO PINGO's goalkeeper Dionisio Raphael had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fidel Martxelin. Gregorio Tancoš lost his temper 42 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 42nd minute, one of PINGO PINGO:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for PINGO PINGO. The referee gave Stellenbosch a penalty, 45 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jesus Paskal, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of PINGO PINGO's Dionisio Raphael. 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Dionisio Raphael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fidel Martxelin in the 50th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerke Krupp in the 52nd minute of play forced PINGO PINGO's goalkeeper Dionisio Raphael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But to his dismay, Filip Josefsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Filip Josefsson struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Pedro Pelayo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PINGO PINGO. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octavio Lluis in the 70th minute of play forced PINGO PINGO's goalkeeper Dionisio Raphael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st minute Octavio Lluis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dionisio Raphael saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dionisio Raphael prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mao Zhen hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Pedro Pelayo was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Loukas Karaliopoulos. Dionisio Raphael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severo Mingo in the 94th minute of play. In the 95th minute of the match Stellenbosch got a corner. PINGO PINGO's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Octavio Lluis ran over to the corner to take the kick. The PINGO PINGO supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing PINGO PINGO would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
