Bruninho Vaz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Bruninho Vaz made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Yuan Wei Han sent off a good shot on target. Jerry Lodge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alf Elg in the 27th minute of the match. Valencia C.F.'s attentive 冯剑昆 managed to snatch the ball when Rômulo Mazza made a throw-in in the 35th minute of the game. Alf Elg took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jerry Lodge. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joe Herring in the 46th minute of play forced SC Bertioga's goalkeeper Bruninho Vaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, SC Bertioga's Rômulo Mazza got a free kick in the 47th minute. After a defensive mix-up in SC Bertioga's zone, Joe Herring stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruninho Vaz came out of the goal and Joe Herring tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alf Elg to make the kick off. After 53 played minutes SC Bertioga got a freekick which was hit by Rômulo Mazza. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Bertioga's goalkeeper Bruninho Vaz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 56 minutes SC Bertioga's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Guillermo Farré who took care of the corner kick.
