The crowd rose to their feet as Joinville City - FSCMZ's Geovanildo Luis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Adriano Tolin. That made the score 1-0 after 25 minutes of play. Haji Sarap showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raimar Reinauer in the 29th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, Joinville City - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when José Pedro Cerezo came free, but Haji Sarap reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling José Pedro Cerezo in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Haji Sarap prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers José Pedro Cerezo in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Haji Sarap saved Joinville City - FSCMZ from getting behind. In the 34th minute, Geovanildo Luis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Joinville City - FSCMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 37 minutes into the match, Lennie Sagel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Haji Sarap. Joinville City - FSCMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lennie Sagel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. After a rather tough play, DJK Füchtel Vechta's Matthieu Richardot got a free kick in the 45th minute. After 46 played minutes DJK Füchtel Vechta got a freekick which was hit by Mauro Galvão. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Geovanildo Luis in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adriano Tolin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Geovanildo Luis to make the kick off. Adriano Tolin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geovanildo Luis, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 58th minute João Francisco Arce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adriano Tolin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind DJK Füchtel Vechta's goalkeeper Adriano Tolin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Adriano Tolin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcus Allbäck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 88 minutes of play, Joinville City - FSCMZ's Marcus Allbäck made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adriano Tolin was left in no man's land by his defense there! DJK Füchtel Vechta's Adriano Tolin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adhemar Santos in the 92nd minute of play. In the 95th minute Marcus Allbäck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adriano Tolin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adriano Tolin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from George Pogba in the 96th minute of play.
