Sebastian Käller ran back to his position shaking his head. Matías Patrone made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sebastian Käller in the 11th minute. Matías Patrone was out of position in the 12 minute of play, and Sebastian Käller capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sebastian Käller really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Kind of Blue's attentive Tonhão Rodrigues managed to snatch the ball when José Luis Brown made a throw-in in the 16th minute of the game. Oliver Bierhoff recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 21 minutes into the match, Los Delfines's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Käller came free, but Matías Patrone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Matías Patrone was a little too slow when Sebastian Käller got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 26th minute. The score was now 2-0. Kind of Blue's Wilhelm Galle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oliver Bierhoff in the 33rd minute of play. Matías Patrone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Epifanio Aznar, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. In the 46th minute, Sebastian Käller ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Matías Patrone was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sebastian Käller was the one to do the kick off. Sebastian Käller scored 4-0 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Matías Patrone, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Horea Boian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zachary Pliszka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Wilhelm Galle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wilhelm Galle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zachary Pliszka, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute.
