Spectators: 472 (Terracing: 355, Seating: 108, VIP seats: 9) Benedito Trigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Cesaro in the 8th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Cesaro in the 17th minute of play forced Sagarana Clube's goalkeeper Benedito Trigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Sagarana Clube defense, Carlos Cesaro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benedito Trigo. The Sagarana Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benedito Trigo should have stopped the shot. After 22 minutes, Yu Yang Sang mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sagarana Clube and the MARTINETA players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 22 played minutes Sagarana Clube got a freekick which was hit by Yu Yang Sang. Benedito Trigo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Cesaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Éder Madureira in the 35th minute of play forced MARTINETA's goalkeeper Bartolo Beliran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benedito Trigo made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Carlos Cesaro sent off a good shot on target. 38 minutes into the match, Carlos Cesaro notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Sagarana Clube's Benedito Trigo. Benedito Trigo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 41stth minute of the game Carlos Cesaro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sagarana Clube's Benedito Trigo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carlos Cesaro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Sagarana Clube's Yan Moreno seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Yan Moreno the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Sagarana Clube protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Yan Moreno had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 51 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Sagarana Clube! MARTINETA's João Severino was substituted for Carlos Cesaro. The supporters of Sagarana Clube booed when MARTINETA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harry Potter didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bartolo Beliran made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Éder Madureira sent off a good shot on target. In the 70th minute João Severino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedito Trigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The attack was good, but when Éder Madureira in the 84th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Sagarana Clube made a substitution. After 94 played minutes Sagarana Clube got a freekick which was hit by Wilson Valladares. Alexander Buonanno kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Sagarana Clube were awarded a corner in the 98th minute after MARTINETA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Beto Heidemann took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of MARTINETA's goalie and right to Fábio da Cunha. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. MARTINETA's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal.
