Jose Poncio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 9 minutes of play, Samurai's Timmy Henriksson made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jose Poncio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Timmy Henriksson might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jose Poncio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Timmy Henriksson ran back to his position shaking his head. 12 minutes into the game, Maxim Tsigalko cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Jose Poncio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 17th minute, Maxim Tsigalko made a precise shot to the right of Jose Poncio. Sånna goa grejer FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. After taking down the ball on Samurai's corner Allan Bivall fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jose Poncio quite easily take care of the ball. Sånna goa grejer FC's Jose Poncio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timmy Henriksson in the 25th minute of play. Timmy Henriksson scored 0-5 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jose Poncio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maxim Tsigalko in the 36th minute of play forced Sånna goa grejer FC's goalkeeper Jose Poncio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Samurai's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Allan Bivall in the 37th minute. A nice corner shot did that Allan Bivall got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jose Poncio quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Maxim Tsigalko blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jose Poncio having to make a save. Jose Poncio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maxim Tsigalko in the 39th minute of play. Samurai's Maxim Tsigalko managed to work through Sånna goa grejer FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Maxim Tsigalko dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Glenn Olsen was the one to do the kick off. Timmy Henriksson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maxim Tsigalko in the 54th minute of play forced Sånna goa grejer FC's goalkeeper Jose Poncio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Maxim Tsigalko had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jose Poncio. Sånna goa grejer FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maxim Tsigalko was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Samurai's Wu Qi was substituted for Maxim Tsigalko. Samurai made a substitution. Esbjörn Hultstrand replaced Timmy Henriksson. Samurai's Åke Hamnberg was substituted for Hernán Grana. Jose Poncio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Esbjörn Hultstrand in the 73rd minute. In the 75th minute, Wu Qi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jose Poncio. The goal made the score 0-8. In the 81st minute of the match, Esbjörn Hultstrand got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jose Poncio was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Nils-Åke Biörnberg hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Sånna goa grejer FC's Jose Poncio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Sånna goa grejer FC from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Wu Qi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jose Poncio was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. In the 95th minute, Wu Qi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jose Poncio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-9.

The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Samurai eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
