In the 2nd match minute, Hønning was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per Nørbjerg to maneuver through the defense. 4 minutes into the match, Hønning's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Fábio Rocha came free, but Gert Altorn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Flavio Iraunkor in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gert Altorn saved Hønning from getting behind. Mikael Kandil hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Luís Fábio Rocha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 11 minutes into the match, Hønning's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Fábio Rocha came free, but Gert Altorn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gert Altorn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Fábio Rocha in the 16th minute of play. In the 21stth minute of the game Luís Fábio Rocha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hønning's Gert Altorn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Luís Fábio Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 24 minutes into the match, Hønning's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Fábio Rocha came free, but Gert Altorn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Luís Fábio Rocha pulled a muscle in his leg after 26 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 26 minutes into the game, Laurids Hvenekilde was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hønning's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Hijos de Doña Beija the free kick. Los Hijos de Doña Beija made a substitution. Albino Brion replaced Luís Fábio Rocha. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 26th minute of the game. One of Hønning:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Los Hijos de Doña Beija:s goal. Gert Altorn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Albino Brion went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Hønning's zone, Albino Brion stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gert Altorn came out of the goal and Albino Brion tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benne Reijnders got a throw-in 45 minutes in the game and the ball was received by John-Arne Riise. Hønning's Gert Altorn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albino Brion in the 47th minute of play. The Hønning players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Los Hijos de Doña Beija were winning 0-2.

Los Hijos de Doña Beija made a substitution. Jyrki Sillanpää replaced Flavio Iraunkor. Higinio Aguilera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laurids Hvenekilde, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Laurids Hvenekilde got his second yellow card in the match during the 55th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The audience was convinced that Albino Brion's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gert Altorn was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albino Brion in the 59th minute of play forced Hønning's goalkeeper Gert Altorn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gert Altorn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albino Brion in the 61st minute of the match. Jyrki Sillanpää who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 63rdth minute tested the skills of Gert Altorn when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Gert Altorn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albino Brion, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 71st minute, Jyrki Sillanpää made a precise shot to the right of Gert Altorn. Hønning's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. In the 77th minute Albino Brion shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gert Altorn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, Hønning's goal looked a bit too open when Albino Brion came free, but Gert Altorn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Albino Brion got free with Gert Altorn in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gert Altorn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albino Brion in the 82nd minute of play. Jyrki Sillanpää succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-5 in the 86th playminute. Los Hijos de Doña Beija made a substitution. Argi Casta replaced Demy Ottens. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albino Brion in the 96th minute of play forced Hønning's goalkeeper Gert Altorn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gert Altorn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jyrki Sillanpää in the 97th minute.

Los Hijos de Doña Beija's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
