In the 2nd minute, Mao Bin Ao hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Baal Ares's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Xu Yi Lei read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. In the 5th minute Ares FC -MM- were awarded a corner. Karadeniz Otay went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Karadeniz Otay almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but City Friseur Wuppertal's Xu Yi Lei did a great save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Albi Martínez got free with Luca Jivulescu in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 9th minute City Friseur Wuppertal were awarded a corner. Waldemar Ryback went to the cornerflag to take it. Luca Jivulescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hüseyin Rahmi Uçanok, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 11th minute, City Friseur Wuppertal's Albi Martínez ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Luca Jivulescu. Luca Jivulescu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Avram Stegaru in the 20th minute of play forced Ares FC -MM-'s goalkeeper Luca Jivulescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute Avram Stegaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luca Jivulescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luca Jivulescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waldemar Ryback in the 24th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albi Martínez in the 25th minute of play forced Ares FC -MM-'s goalkeeper Luca Jivulescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luca Jivulescu made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Waldemar Ryback sent off a good shot on target. City Friseur Wuppertal's Xu Yi Lei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baal Ares in the 28th minute of play. In the 29th minute Baal Ares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xu Yi Lei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luca Jivulescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Avram Stegaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Xu Yi Lei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baal Ares in the 34th minute of play. Baal Ares might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Xu Yi Lei. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Baal Ares ran back to his position shaking his head. City Friseur Wuppertal's Xu Yi Lei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baal Ares in the 37th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, City Friseur Wuppertal's goal looked a bit too open when Baal Ares came free, but Xu Yi Lei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xu Yi Lei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baal Ares, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 47th minute, Baal Ares left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ares FC -MM- fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Waldemar Ryback stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nebi Tokyürek in the 57th minute of play forced Ares FC -MM-'s goalkeeper Luca Jivulescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. City Friseur Wuppertal's Xu Yi Lei proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save City Friseur Wuppertal from getting a goal against them. 68 minutes into the match, Ares FC -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Waldemar Ryback came free, but Luca Jivulescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nebi Tokyürek might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luca Jivulescu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nebi Tokyürek ran back to his position shaking his head. Albi Martínez hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baal Ares in the 80th minute of play forced City Friseur Wuppertal's goalkeeper Xu Yi Lei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st minute, Viktor Eklund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice moves Folkert Walregt could shoot a difficult shot in the 86th minute, which Xu Yi Lei however easily saved by the left post. After 91 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for City Friseur Wuppertal!
