In the 4th match minute, Paso FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teo Cresitobalo to maneuver through the defense. In the 6th minute, Gremio Viana's Jiang De ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mira Pene. Mira Pene yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Gremio Viana's zone, Oktay Eğriöz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Samuel Fiúza came out of the goal and Oktay Eğriöz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Oktay Eğriöz came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Paso FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oktay Eğriöz couldn't finish the play. In the 26th minute, Haroldo Ayala hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paso FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 29th minute, when Jiang De scored to the left of an out of position Mira Pene, making the score, 2-0. Oktay Eğriöz scored 2-1 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Samuel Fiúza, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gremio Viana's goalkeeper Samuel Fiúza, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mira Pene was a little too slow when Jiang De got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 40th minute. The score was now 3-1. Samuel Fiúza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oktay Eğriöz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Oktay Eğriöz made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Gremio Viana getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Augustin Panaiteanu hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Oktay Eğriöz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Samuel Fiúza was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jiang De in the 56th minute of play forced Paso FC's goalkeeper Mira Pene to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Gremio Viana's goalkeeper Samuel Fiúza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oktay Eğriöz. In the 71st minute Carlos Luna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mira Pene saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paso FC's Mira Pene played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Luna in the 78th minute of play. In the 81st minute Albi Koka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mira Pene saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Denis Rivas struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Samuel Fiúza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paso FC. Gremio Viana's Antonio Calisto was substituted for Tony Påk. Fabrizio Crognale kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match.

There was no doubt that Gremio Viana were the better team. Gremio Viana's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
