In the 8th minute, Candido Jakes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Deportivo Balvanera's attentive Candido Jakes managed to snatch the ball when Tolek Chazen made a throw-in in the 13th minute of the game. 16 minutes into the game, AC LeX Luthor's Peep Pronk nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Abel Neron made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Abel Neron showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peep Pronk, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Abel Neron showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peep Pronk in the 28th minute of the match. In the 31st match minute, Deportivo Balvanera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Milito to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute Peep Pronk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Neron saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peep Pronk blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Abel Neron having to make a save. Deportivo Balvanera's Abel Neron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peep Pronk in the 35th minute of play. Abel Neron came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by AC LeX Luthor's Peep Pronk. But to his dismay, Peep Pronk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After the first half AC LeX Luthor were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

52 minutes into the match, AC LeX Luthor's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Milito came free, but Maurício Bomba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute, Candido Jakes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 60 minutes into the game, AC LeX Luthor's Alvaro Errando nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Abel Neron made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. 63 minutes into the match, AC LeX Luthor's Alvaro Errando sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Abel Neron narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Alberto Marquez in the 64th minute of play forced Deportivo Balvanera's goalkeeper Abel Neron to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abel Neron showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvaro Errando in the 65th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Deportivo Balvanera defense, Alvaro Errando kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abel Neron. The Deportivo Balvanera fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abel Neron should have stopped the shot. Deportivo Balvanera made a substitution. Leandro Cordarin replaced Severiano Taurino. Abel Neron made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Carlos Alberto Marquez sent off a good shot on target. Abel Neron stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlos Alberto Marquez's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. 83 minutes into the game, AC LeX Luthor's Carlos Alberto Marquez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Abel Neron made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. 88 minutes into the match, Deportivo Balvanera's goal looked a bit too open when Alvaro Errando came free, but Abel Neron reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pancho Branca made a great header on AC LeX Luthor's corner, it was just that Deportivo Balvanera's Abel Neron managed to reach the ball for a save. 93 minutes into the match, Deportivo Balvanera's goalkeeper Abel Neron had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Alberto Marquez.

AC LeX Luthor's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
