An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulises Benet in the 2nd minute of play forced Edson Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Paul Christini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santiago Cordarell stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Heleno de Freitas's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. Santiago Cordarell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Hulk in the 7th minute of the match. After 8th play minutes Heleno de Freitas shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Santiago Cordarell and just under the crossbar into goal. Santiago Cordarell stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Heleno de Freitas's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. The audience was convinced that Heleno de Freitas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Santiago Cordarell was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Edson Futebol Clube's Paul Christini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nestor Enekoitz in the 14th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Paulino Bero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Tao Xing Yong managed to get in a good position for a shot. Edson Futebol Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Tao Xing Yong was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Santiago Cordarell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aquilino Eudoxio hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Aquilino Eudoxio charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aquilino Eudoxio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 21st match minute, Bresikas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aquilino Eudoxio to maneuver through the defense. In the 23rdth minute of the game Heleno de Freitas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bresikas's Santiago Cordarell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Panos Karkantos notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Bresikas's Santiago Cordarell. Santiago Cordarell was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Heleno de Freitas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santiago Cordarell having to interfere. Santiago Cordarell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tao Xing Yong in the 33rd minute of play. Bresikas's Santiago Cordarell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Heleno de Freitas in the 35th minute of play. In the 39thth minute of the game Heleno de Freitas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bresikas's Santiago Cordarell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Heleno de Freitas in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Santiago Cordarell prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bresikas's Santiago Cordarell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Heleno de Freitas in the 41st minute of play. Santiago Cordarell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heleno de Freitas in the 48th minute of play. The Bresikas players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Edson Futebol Clube were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leovigildo Abumohor to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes Bresikas's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tao Xing Yong who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Tao Xing Yong almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Bresikas's Santiago Cordarell did a great save. 61 minutes into the match, Bresikas's goal looked a bit too open when Heleno de Freitas came free, but Santiago Cordarell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Edson Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Panos Karkantos hit a great ball. In the 63rd minute Leovigildo Abumohor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paul Christini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66thth minute of the game Heleno de Freitas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bresikas's Santiago Cordarell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 72nd minute Heleno de Freitas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santiago Cordarell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Santiago Cordarell made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lucas Hulk in the 75th minute. In the 77th minute, Nestor Enekoitz made a precise shot to the right of Paul Christini. Edson Futebol Clube's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bresikas's goalkeeper Santiago Cordarell, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Bresikas's zone, Heleno de Freitas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Santiago Cordarell came out of the goal and Heleno de Freitas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Heleno de Freitas struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Santiago Cordarell didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Edson Futebol Clube. Santiago Cordarell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heleno de Freitas in the 89th minute of play. Santiago Cordarell was out of position in the 95 minute of play, and Heleno de Freitas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Heleno de Freitas really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3.
