The referee showed Mathieu Autin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Jorge Osorio fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cable a Tierra's protests and gave Jorge Osorio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 46th minute, Jorge Osorio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eugène Guiguet to strike the kick off in the second half. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 9-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Stade Ygossais's Vivien Canale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gavino Egoi in the 77th minute of play. Vivien Canale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Osorio in the 78th minute of the match.
