The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ezequiel Rutenio kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Kléber Abreu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Narciso Bertassi in the 16th minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Claudio Echeverri ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kléber Abreu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Narciso Bertassi in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kléber Abreu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 28th minute Cable a Tierra were awarded a corner. Leandro Salvator went to the cornerflag to take it. Cable a Tierra's Leandro Salvator was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Kléber Abreu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 29 played minutes DJVAGALUMY FC. got a freekick which was hit by Henrique Sergipano. Paulinho Zanette could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Leonides Telesforo made a huge save. DJVAGALUMY FC.'s Kléber Abreu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leandro Salvator in the 34th minute of play. After 36 minutes, Paulinho Zanette mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the DJVAGALUMY FC. and the Cable a Tierra players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to DJVAGALUMY FC. getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Paulinho Zanette hit a great ball. Narciso Bertassi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kléber Abreu came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Cable a Tierra's Claudio Echeverri. But to his dismay, Claudio Echeverri quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Tytus Dubiel kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Kléber Abreu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Narciso Bertassi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Cable a Tierra were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paulinho Zanette was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Gavino Egoi lined in a short shot 0-5 behind a frustrated Kléber Abreu. Kléber Abreu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Saverio Mercurio went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. In the 58th match minute, Cable a Tierra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudio Echeverri to maneuver through the defense. Cable a Tierra's Leonides Telesforo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Veiga in the 61st minute of play. Narciso Bertassi took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kléber Abreu. Kléber Abreu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. DJVAGALUMY FC.'s Kléber Abreu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saverio Mercurio in the 65th minute of play. In the 66th match minute, Cable a Tierra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudio Echeverri to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Cable a Tierra's Claudio Echeverri got a free kick in the 68th minute. Kléber Abreu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Claudio Echeverri in the 71st minute. Leonides Telesforo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrique Sergipano in the 74th minute of play. In the 75th minute, Leonardo Sigali hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Cable a Tierra booed when DJVAGALUMY FC. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerson Quadros didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th minute, Cable a Tierra's Narciso Bertassi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kléber Abreu. Kléber Abreu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. Kléber Abreu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Narciso Bertassi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-9 in the 82 minute of play. Cable a Tierra's Narciso Bertassi got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kléber Abreu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Claudio Echeverri in the 88th minute. In the 89th minute, Saverio Mercurio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cable a Tierra fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-10. Kléber Abreu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Claudio Echeverri in the 92nd minute. Cable a Tierra's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
