Angelo Carballal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrik Wacherhausen in the 6th minute of the match. Gökberk Özgenc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 13 minutes into the match, Westra Aros SK's goalkeeper Ivan Västlund had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guido Arizabal. The supporters of Sporting Buceo booed when Westra Aros SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basilio Arnuero didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th match minute, Westra Aros SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ingo Kuster to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kismi Tojedo got free with Ivan Västlund in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Angelo Carballal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roberto Baggio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Angelo Carballal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roberto Baggio, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Ivan Västlund made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sagrario Yribarren in the 37th minute. Angelo Carballal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gökberk Özgenc went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Guido Arizabal made the kick off in the second half. A hard shot 51 in the game by Gökberk Özgenc from a close distance when the talented Angelo Carballal managed to make a qualified save. Sporting Buceo's players were relieved. 53 minutes into the game, Westra Aros SK's Gökberk Özgenc nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Angelo Carballal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 56 minutes into the match, Westra Aros SK's goal looked a bit too open when Kismi Tojedo came free, but Ivan Västlund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Sporting Buceo's Gilmar Cuadrillero got a free kick in the 58th minute. Westra Aros SK made a substitution. Ismael Jenaro replaced Roberto Baggio. Gilmar Cuadrillero kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 60 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Gökberk Özgenc sped through Sporting Buceo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Angelo Carballal. After a defensive mix-up in Sporting Buceo's zone, Gökberk Özgenc stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angelo Carballal came out of the goal and Gökberk Özgenc tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 66 minutes into the game, Ingo Kuster recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Angelo Carballal. Ingo Kuster showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. In a very dangerous position, a player in Westra Aros SK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 69th minute. Penalty! 1-4 came in the 72nd minute when Gilmar Cuadrillero all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Ivan Västlund. Ivan Västlund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nardo Tuo, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Ivan Västlund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kismi Tojedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The throw-in from Gilmar Cuadrillero in the 87th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Westra Aros SK's Jörn Hylander.
