The corner led Amelie FC's Konrad Kasprzak to fire away a dangerous shot which Ivan Västlund despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Normando Portillo kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Nicasio Benino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roberto Baggio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 17 minutes Amelie FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Normando Portillo who took care of the corner kick. Normando Portillo made a great header on Westra Aros SK's corner, it was just that Amelie FC's Nicasio Benino managed to reach the ball for a save. The supporters of Amelie FC booed when Westra Aros SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gökberk Özgenc didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd minute of the match Amelie FC got a corner. Westra Aros SK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marcial Leoiar ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Amelie FC's Marcial Leoiar to fire away a dangerous shot which Ivan Västlund despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 47th play minutes António Tinoco shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Ivan Västlund and just under the crossbar into goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Gökberk Özgenc managed to get in a good position for a shot. Westra Aros SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Gökberk Özgenc was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicasio Benino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Westra Aros SK's Ismael Jenaro was substituted for Roberto Baggio. Through an outstanding action, after 66 minutes, Ivan Västlund successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ivan Västlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelio Rubio in the 67th minute of play. When Westra Aros SK's Gökberk Özgenc in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Nicasio Benino didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gökberk Özgenc went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score.
