After a defensive mix-up in Amelie FC's zone, Diego Loche stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adolfo Fernado came out of the goal and Diego Loche tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Victor Guifre scored 0-2 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anthony Vaissière, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Germain Cabezon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Anthony Vaissière tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hugo Goizeder kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Eugène Guiguet kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Diego Loche got free with Adolfo Fernado in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Diego Loche came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Stade Ygossais fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diego Loche couldn't finish the play. Amelie FC's Adolfo Fernado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Amelie FC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Amelie FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Antonio Garin hit a great ball. A hard shot by Marc-Antoine Vermeulen from long distance, 47 minutes into the match, got Adolfo Fernado's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eugène Guiguet to make the kick off. In the 59th minute, Diego Loche made a precise shot to the right of Adolfo Fernado. Amelie FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Dhondt in the 63rd minute of play forced Amelie FC's goalkeeper Adolfo Fernado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 88 minutes, Victor Guifre managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Amelie FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victor Guifre was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 94th minute Geoffrey Gand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adolfo Fernado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Stade Ygossais fans cheered their team off the field, for while Amelie FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
