Nicu Arghirescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lano Castejon in the 10th minute of the match. Augustin Horea in the 16thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Baladi Obina, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Stelian Hulubei came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Club Sportiv Medgidia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stelian Hulubei couldn't finish the play. The supporters of EL MAGO ONEILL booed when Club Sportiv Medgidia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavius Băieșu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cazimir Panait's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baladi Obina read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Cazimir Panait sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, EL MAGO ONEILL's Lano Castejon got a free kick in the 31st minute. 42 minutes in the game, Cazimir Panait fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Baladi Obina having to interfere. Xosepe Alas was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 48 minutes into the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Peio Catiti was the one to do the kick off. In the 57th minute, Sergiu Timaru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Baladi Obina came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Sportiv Medgidia's Augustin Horea. But to his dismay, Augustin Horea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Cazimir Panait took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Baladi Obina. Baladi Obina dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. In the 74th minute, Peio Catiti fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Nicu Arghirescu, passed just outside the right post. 77 minutes into the match, Flavius Băieșu notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of EL MAGO ONEILL's Baladi Obina. Baladi Obina was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Augustin Horea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baladi Obina was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. EL MAGO ONEILL's Baladi Obina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cazimir Panait in the 86th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augustin Horea in the 87th minute of play forced EL MAGO ONEILL's goalkeeper Baladi Obina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Club Sportiv Medgidia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sebastian Matei in the 89th minute. Sergiu Timaru made a great header on Club Sportiv Medgidia's corner, it was just that EL MAGO ONEILL's Baladi Obina managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cazimir Panait in the 95th minute of play forced EL MAGO ONEILL's goalkeeper Baladi Obina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baladi Obina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cazimir Panait, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Flavius Băieșu hit a great freekick 100 minutes into the match. Club Sportiv Medgidia's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
