Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Eugène Guiguet took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Geoffrey Gand came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Stade Ygossais fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Geoffrey Gand couldn't finish the play. 6 minutes into the game, Edgard Blaison cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Lavrits Bjørnfalk was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 10th minute Diego Loche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lavrits Bjørnfalk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ATOWN's Oskar Valsgard got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 33 minutes of play, ATOWN's Oskar Valsgard made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anthony Vaissière was left in no man's land by his defense there! 36 minutes into the match, Stade Ygossais's goalkeeper Anthony Vaissière had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Godtfred Kellmer. Godtfred Kellmer came free with the goalkeeper in the 40th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Anthony Vaissière could save by the left post. Godtfred Kellmer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Anthony Vaissière tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 45 minutes into the match, ATOWN's goal looked a bit too open when Eugène Guiguet came free, but Lavrits Bjørnfalk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ronni Arnov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, ATOWN's goalkeeper Lavrits Bjørnfalk had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Diego Loche. Lavrits Bjørnfalk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Geoffrey Gand in the 57th minute. Anthony Vaissière stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ronni Arnov's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Eilif Hofsø hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in ATOWN's zone, Diego Loche stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lavrits Bjørnfalk came out of the goal and Diego Loche tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lavrits Bjørnfalk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugène Guiguet, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Eugène Guiguet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Diego Loche could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Lavrits Bjørnfalk made a huge save. ATOWN's Lavrits Bjørnfalk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugène Guiguet in the 81st minute of play. Lavrits Bjørnfalk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugène Guiguet in the 84th minute of play. Godtfred Kellmer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anthony Vaissière having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgard Blaison in the 90th minute of play forced ATOWN's goalkeeper Lavrits Bjørnfalk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 96 minutes into the game, Geoffrey Gand recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lavrits Bjørnfalk. Geoffrey Gand showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3.
