With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nicu Arghirescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Anthony Vaissière made an important save on a dangerous shot by Augustin Horea in the 19th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stelian Hulubei in the 21st minute of play forced Stade Ygossais's goalkeeper Anthony Vaissière to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eugène Guiguet to make the kick off. Anthony Vaissière made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. After a rather tough play, Club Sportiv Medgidia's Ferdinand Hidiș got a free kick in the 75th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Geoffrey Gand managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stade Ygossais's supporters rose to their feet, but Geoffrey Gand was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicu Arghirescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Cyril Desmaison fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stade Ygossais's protests and gave Cyril Desmaison a yellow card for diving instead. The Club Sportiv Medgidia fans' excitement grew in the 88th match minute when Club Sportiv Medgidia's Augustin Horea looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Augustin Horea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anthony Vaissière having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Stade Ygossais's zone, Ştefan Alupulesei stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anthony Vaissière came out of the goal and Ştefan Alupulesei tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee ended the match the Club Sportiv Medgidia players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
