An unexpectedly hard shot by Geoffrey Gand in the 4th minute of play forced LanternGarden's goalkeeper Kartal Benlioğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kartal Benlioğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugène Guiguet in the 5th minute of the match. With a little luck, LanternGarden's Kartal Benlioğlu got control of the ball when Diego Loche tried to sneak it across the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, LanternGarden's goal looked a bit too open when Eugène Guiguet came free, but Kartal Benlioğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kartal Benlioğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugène Guiguet, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 17th minute Eugène Guiguet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kartal Benlioğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in LanternGarden's zone, Diego Loche stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kartal Benlioğlu came out of the goal and Diego Loche tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to LanternGarden getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Ali Vedat Veysel hit a great ball. The supporters of Stade Ygossais booed when LanternGarden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hüseyin Can Arıhan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kartal Benlioğlu was a little too slow when Eugène Guiguet got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 22nd minute. The score was now 1-0. Erhan Bahçeli was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 25 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute, one of LanternGarden:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for LanternGarden. When the match had been going on for 26 minutes, Stade Ygossais's Éluard Marcellin got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Kartal Benlioğlu. The audience thought a goal was coming when Diego Loche got free with Kartal Benlioğlu in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Stade Ygossais's Geoffrey Gand slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Kartal Benlioğlu. That made the score 4-0 after 35 minutes of play. Diego Loche could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Kartal Benlioğlu made a huge save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eugène Guiguet was the one to do the kick off. Kartal Benlioğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diego Loche, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Kartal Benlioğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugène Guiguet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eugène Guiguet scored 7-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kartal Benlioğlu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 8-0 became the score in the 56th minute when Eugène Guiguet elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Eugène Guiguet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kartal Benlioğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugène Guiguet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to LanternGarden getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Kaptan Türehan hit a great ball. If Diego Loche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eugène Guiguet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 72 minutes into the game, Kaptan Türehan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. LanternGarden's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stade Ygossais the free kick. A collision led to LanternGarden getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Kaptan Türehan hit a great ball. After 76 minutes, Marc-Antoine Vermeulen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stade Ygossais and the LanternGarden players grew even worse after the yellow card. Anthony Vaissière made an important save on a dangerous shot by Güray Otaç in the 78th minute. LanternGarden's Kartal Benlioğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Loche in the 79th minute of play. Kartal Benlioğlu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eugène Guiguet went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 10-0 was the resulting score. Stade Ygossais's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
