After a defensive mix-up in Club Sportiv Medgidia's zone, Diego Loche stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicu Arghirescu came out of the goal and Diego Loche tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Club Sportiv Medgidia's Ferdinand Hidiș got a free kick in the 7th minute. If Augustin Horea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicu Arghirescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Diego Loche in the 16th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augustin Horea in the 20th minute of play forced Stade Ygossais's goalkeeper Anthony Vaissière to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicu Arghirescu made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Diego Loche sent off a good shot on target. Anthony Vaissière made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augustin Horea in the 29th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Augustin Horea in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anthony Vaissière saved Stade Ygossais from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Stade Ygossais's Diego Loche got a free kick in the 34th minute. Geoffrey Gand hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Aurelian Şantău took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 36th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Anthony Vaissière. Stade Ygossais's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Stade Ygossais's Diego Loche got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nicu Arghirescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugène Guiguet, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Ştefan Alupulesei managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Sportiv Medgidia's supporters rose to their feet, but Ştefan Alupulesei was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anthony Vaissière breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 55 minutes into the match, Stade Ygossais's goalkeeper Anthony Vaissière had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ştefan Alupulesei. Sebastian Matei was slow to take the kick. During this time Club Sportiv Medgidia's players had a chance to rest. Sebastian Matei made a great header on Club Sportiv Medgidia's corner, it was just that Stade Ygossais's Anthony Vaissière managed to reach the ball for a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ştefan Alupulesei in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anthony Vaissière prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 69 minutes into the game, Eugène Guiguet cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Nicu Arghirescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Stade Ygossais getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Jean-Sébastien Bruel hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stelian Hulubei during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 79 played minutes Club Sportiv Medgidia got a freekick which was hit by Stelian Hulubei. When Club Sportiv Medgidia's Ştefan Alupulesei in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Stade Ygossais's Anthony Vaissière played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augustin Horea in the 86th minute of play. Eugène Guiguet hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The Club Sportiv Medgidia players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
