An unexpectedly hard shot by Leon Gredilla in the 7th minute of play forced Club Sportiv Medgidia's goalkeeper Nicu Arghirescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute, Leon Gredilla fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 17th minute, Venceslao Solares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Club Sportiv Medgidia booed when Internacional Pechofrío was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Toli Gustros didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augustin Horea in the 22nd minute of play forced Internacional Pechofrío's goalkeeper Erauso Espantoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicu Arghirescu made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Leon Gredilla sent off a good shot on target. Frantxizko Aulestia kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augustin Horea in the 37th minute of play forced Internacional Pechofrío's goalkeeper Erauso Espantoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicu Arghirescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leon Gredilla in the 45th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Augustin Horea stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Club Sportiv Medgidia got a freekick which was hit by Augustin Horea. Frantxizko Aulestia hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Ferdinand Hidiș hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Nicu Arghirescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leon Gredilla's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. 67 minutes into the match, Club Sportiv Medgidia's goal looked a bit too open when Leon Gredilla came free, but Nicu Arghirescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leon Gredilla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 88 played minutes Club Sportiv Medgidia got a freekick which was hit by Augustin Horea. Nicu Arghirescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Venceslao Solares in the 90th minute of play. Leon Gredilla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicu Arghirescu having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
