With an extended leg and a bit of luck Silban Mudarra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 16 minutes into the game, Thanan Javaus recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Silban Mudarra. Thanan Javaus showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. When Thailand's Thananiti Cheewawipat in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nelsonteam's goalie prevented a goal. Watee Hangpit kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute of the match Thailand got a corner. Nelsonteam's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Chiratorn Wongsanam ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 32nd match minute, Nelsonteam was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celso Rivas to maneuver through the defense. Sitthachat Jampeehom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dante Ucero in the 42nd minute of play. After 47 played minutes Thailand got a freekick which was hit by Sontaya Peerapattana. After recieving a nice pass, Nelsonteam's Jordi Hospital tried to score from far away in the 48th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

In the 60th match minute, Nelsonteam was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Taurino De Paula to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Thailand booed when Nelsonteam was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Taurino De Paula didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 63rd minute Thanan Javaus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silban Mudarra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 65 minutes of play, Thailand's Thanan Javaus made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Silban Mudarra was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thananiti Cheewawipat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Silban Mudarra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thanan Javaus in the 70th minute of play forced Nelsonteam's goalkeeper Silban Mudarra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silban Mudarra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thananiti Cheewawipat's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Thailand's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Chiratorn Wongsanam in the 74th minute. Thailand's Thanan Javaus was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Silban Mudarra in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Watee Hangpit in the 78th minute of play forced Nelsonteam's goalkeeper Silban Mudarra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silban Mudarra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thanan Javaus in the 81st minute of the match. Pasachai Jitjai scored 3-0 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Silban Mudarra, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Thailand fans' excitement grew in the 86th match minute when Thailand's Pasachai Jitjai looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Silban Mudarra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Watee Hangpit, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Thailand getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Natawoot Sikapan hit a great ball. Thailand's Sitthachat Jampeehom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dante Ucero in the 96th minute of play.
