In the 4th minute Yin Li Ying shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radu Barbălată saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eintracht Cernavoda's Ionică Corcoveanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manole Miulescu in the 5th minute of play. Ionică Corcoveanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manole Miulescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ionică Corcoveanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marin Dică in the 7th minute of play. Ionică Corcoveanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marin Dică in the 9th minute of the match. Ionică Corcoveanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Péter Bánhegyi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 12 minutes into the match, Alexandria Team08's goal looked a bit too open when Yin Li Ying came free, but Radu Barbălată reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute Alexandria Team08 were awarded a corner. Jedrzej Sanocki went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 21st match minute, Eintracht Cernavoda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Huey Bom to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Péter Bánhegyi in the 22nd minute of play forced Eintracht Cernavoda's goalkeeper Ionică Corcoveanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ionică Corcoveanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marin Dică in the 27th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manole Miulescu in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ionică Corcoveanu saved Eintracht Cernavoda from getting behind. 28 minutes into the match, Eintracht Cernavoda's goal looked a bit too open when Marin Dică came free, but Ionică Corcoveanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ionică Corcoveanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Péter Bánhegyi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 32 minutes into the match, Péter Bánhegyi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ionică Corcoveanu. Eintracht Cernavoda's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Péter Bánhegyi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After some careless play in the Eintracht Cernavoda defense, Basarab Panciu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ionică Corcoveanu. The Eintracht Cernavoda fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ionică Corcoveanu should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Alexandria Team08 getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Aras Görkem Korcan hit a great ball. The long shot by Philip Walter in the 46th minute really tested Radu Barbălată's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After a rather tough play, Eintracht Cernavoda's Philip Walter got a free kick in the 48th minute. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Yin Li Ying to make the kick off. After 57 played minutes, Eintracht Cernavoda's Philip Walter shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Radu Barbălată came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Eintracht Cernavoda reached it. Ionică Corcoveanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manole Miulescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Ionică Corcoveanu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marin Dică in the 64th minute. In the 65th minute, Péter Bánhegyi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ionică Corcoveanu. The goal made the score 0-3. Filip Pantiș sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alexandria Team08's Aykut Aşkın was substituted for Péter Bánhegyi. Alexandria Team08's Doctor Mugg was substituted for Manole Miulescu. Alexandria Team08 made a substitution. Zhou replaced Marin Dică. In the 75th minute Filip Pantiș shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radu Barbălată saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Doctor Mugg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Ionică Corcoveanu made a huge save. Eintracht Cernavoda's Ionică Corcoveanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Eintracht Cernavoda from getting a goal against them. The throw-in from Sorin Pipirig in the 80th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Alexandria Team08's Qiu Feng Li.

The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Alexandria Team08 walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
