In the 4th minute Flavio Valines shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sérgio Vargas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ettore Madaio in the 5th minute of play forced -BZF- Petrolul Berca's goalkeeper Lino Mazza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charalambos Vokolos in the 7th minute of play forced FC GURZUN's goalkeeper Sérgio Vargas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sérgio Vargas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio Valines in the 9th minute of play. When Flavio Valines came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the -BZF- Petrolul Berca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Flavio Valines couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, FC GURZUN's Angel Patrido got a free kick in the 19th minute. Charalambos Vokolos hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Sérgio Vargas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusebiu Tunar, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 33rd minute, Nae Hurmuzache left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC GURZUN fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 36th minute Albertinho Alagoano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sérgio Vargas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sérgio Vargas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albertinho Alagoano, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Sérgio Vargas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Albertinho Alagoano went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nikolas Kafkalas to strike the kick off in the second half. Sérgio Vargas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charalambos Vokolos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of -BZF- Petrolul Berca booed when FC GURZUN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moise Cigu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sérgio Vargas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexsandro Bueno in the 57th minute of the match. When Nikolas Kafkalas came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the FC GURZUN fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nikolas Kafkalas couldn't finish the play. A collision led to FC GURZUN getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Lars Lindholm hit a great ball. In the 73rdth minute of the game Albertinho Alagoano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC GURZUN's Sérgio Vargas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charalambos Vokolos in the 76th minute of play forced FC GURZUN's goalkeeper Sérgio Vargas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lars Lindholm kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, FC GURZUN's Lars Lindholm got a free kick in the 79th minute. Albertinho Alagoano scored 3-1 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sérgio Vargas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. FC GURZUN's Matei Cozmâncă was substituted for Ettore Madaio. A nice corner shot did that Alexsandro Bueno got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sérgio Vargas quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 91st match minute, -BZF- Petrolul Berca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zhang Liang Liang to maneuver through the defense. -BZF- Petrolul Berca's Shi Jing Feng was substituted for Eusebiu Tunar. After a rather tough play, -BZF- Petrolul Berca's Zhang Liang Liang got a free kick in the 93rd minute. A collision led to FC GURZUN getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Nae Hurmuzache hit a great ball.

The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. -BZF- Petrolul Berca were victorious despite being under pressure from FC GURZUN for much of the match.
