Gabriel Batistuta took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mario Klompe. Mario Klompe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 10th minute, Dino Travassos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Clube Sporting Navuo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Henk Zaagman hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Toninho Guerreiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mario Klompe was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. 17 minutes into the match, Zijdewind SC's goal looked a bit too open when Toninho Guerreiro came free, but Mario Klompe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mario Klompe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andreas Fuchs, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Zijdewind SC's Mario Klompe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexander McCuag in the 19th minute of play. Emilijano Spasovski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mario Klompe having to interfere. After 22 minutes of play, Clube Sporting Navuo's Alexander McCuag made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mario Klompe was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Clube Sporting Navuo's Gabriel Batistuta in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Zijdewind SC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 34th minute, Toninho Guerreiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mario Klompe was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Toninho Guerreiro struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Mario Klompe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Clube Sporting Navuo. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Flávio Reis in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mario Klompe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mario Klompe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toninho Guerreiro in the 39th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flávio Reis in the 41st minute of play forced Zijdewind SC's goalkeeper Mario Klompe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gabriel Batistuta scored 0-5 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mario Klompe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 45 played minutes Clube Sporting Navuo got a freekick which was hit by Alexander McCuag.

After a rather tough play, Clube Sporting Navuo's Artan Topalovski got a free kick in the 54th minute. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Toninho Guerreiro took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Mario Klompe to make any attempt to save it. Mario Klompe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Toninho Guerreiro in the 61st minute. 61 minutes into the game, Toninho Guerreiro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mario Klompe. Toninho Guerreiro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. The audience thought a goal was coming when Toninho Guerreiro got free with Mario Klompe in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Toninho Guerreiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mario Klompe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Toninho Guerreiro in the 71st minute. Flávio Reis came free with the goalkeeper in the 75th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Mario Klompe could save by the left post. Zijdewind SC's Mario Klompe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Zijdewind SC from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Toninho Guerreiro in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mario Klompe saved Zijdewind SC from getting behind. 77 minutes into the match, Alexander McCuag had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mario Klompe. Zijdewind SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alexander McCuag was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Toninho Guerreiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Clube Sporting Navuo's supporters rose to their feet, but Toninho Guerreiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mario Klompe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mario Klompe made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Flávio Reis sent off a good shot on target. If Celso Vander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Toninho Guerreiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Toninho Guerreiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 97 minutes into the match, Zijdewind SC's Daniël De Leeuw sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joaquim Pombal narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
