The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute Xove Pintor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bertan Wouqier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 6 minutes into the game, VERDOLAGA CITY FC's Eusebio Ecija nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bertan Wouqier made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After a rather tough play, BocaJuniors's Jonas Van Clijnebreugel got a free kick in the 12th minute. 13 minutes into the game, Eusebio Ecija cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Bertan Wouqier was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 18th match minute, BocaJuniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rob De Mayer to maneuver through the defense. 19 minutes into the match, Eusebio Ecija had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bertan Wouqier. BocaJuniors's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eusebio Ecija was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Oriche Isazi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bertan Wouqier having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Oriche Isazi could shoot a difficult shot in the 24th minute, which Bertan Wouqier however easily saved by the left post. A collision led to BocaJuniors getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Yens Pauwels hit a great ball. After having played for 28 minutes, Eusebio Ecija managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. VERDOLAGA CITY FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eusebio Ecija was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, BocaJuniors's Bertan Wouqier got control of the ball when Cordero Jesus tried to sneak it across the goal line. Oriche Isazi succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 4-0 in the 35th playminute. In the 40th minute, VERDOLAGA CITY FC's Eusebio Ecija dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-0. 42 minutes into the game, VERDOLAGA CITY FC's Oriche Isazi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bertan Wouqier made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cordero Jesus made a kick off. When the match had gone on for 51 minutes, Cordero Jesus put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Bertan Wouqier. Bertan Wouqier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Huang Xi Feng in the 55th minute of the match. Bertan Wouqier stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cordero Jesus's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. In the 60th minute Fabian Brinker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bertan Wouqier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bertan Wouqier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oriche Isazi in the 60th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oriche Isazi in the 62nd minute of play forced BocaJuniors's goalkeeper Bertan Wouqier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bertan Wouqier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oriche Isazi, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Bertan Wouqier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oriche Isazi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th minute Cordero Jesus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bertan Wouqier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. VERDOLAGA CITY FC's Barbaros Bozbey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luc Van Parijs in the 70th minute of play. When Richmond Swiggers fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BocaJuniors's protests and gave Richmond Swiggers a yellow card for diving instead. VERDOLAGA CITY FC made a substitution. Xande Cavani replaced Cordero Jesus. Bertan Wouqier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xande Cavani in the 78th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the game, VERDOLAGA CITY FC's Xande Cavani nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. VERDOLAGA CITY FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
