The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 9thth minute of the game Willian Pay who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tortugas's Jerónimo Bettencourt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tortugas's defense didn't have a chance, in the 18th minute, when Willian Pay scored to the left of an out of position Jerónimo Bettencourt, making the score, 1-0. After 21 minutes of play, Habsburgo's Willian Pay made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jerónimo Bettencourt was left in no man's land by his defense there! Domenico Di Nino kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. If Saverio Lehoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Honorato Aznaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leandro Aires, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jerónimo Bettencourt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Willian Pay in the 38th minute. If Willian Pay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tortugas's Jerónimo Bettencourt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Willian Pay in the 39th minute of play. 42 minutes into the game, Willian Pay cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Jerónimo Bettencourt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 46th minute Leandro Aires shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Honorato Aznaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After some careless play in the Tortugas defense, Sebastian Froylan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jerónimo Bettencourt. The Tortugas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jerónimo Bettencourt should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Habsburgo booed when Tortugas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thrinakie Hagias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jerónimo Bettencourt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Froylan, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Habsburgo fully deserved thier win.
