In the 4th minute, Akif Akın ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lucas Arnau was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 10th minute, Lino Tonete reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Francisco Barrionuevo. The goal made the score 1-2. In the 14thth minute of the game Niva Espellosa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Velez Sport Club's Lucas Arnau was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Bassi Gol fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Velez Sport Club's protests and gave Bassi Gol a yellow card for diving instead. After 16 played minutes Velez Sport Club got a freekick which was hit by Bassi Gol. After having played for 17 minutes, Garip Kadrican managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ALASKU TSG's supporters crossed their fingers, but Garip Kadrican was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 23 minutes into the game, ALASKU TSG's Niva Espellosa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lucas Arnau made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. Lucas Arnau came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by ALASKU TSG's Akif Akın. But to his dismay, Akif Akın quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. In the 31st minute, Tomas Felipo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 32nd minute, Akif Akın made a precise shot to the right of Lucas Arnau. Velez Sport Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-6. Niva Espellosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Lucas Arnau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Velez Sport Club defense, Akif Akın kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lucas Arnau. The Velez Sport Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lucas Arnau should have stopped the shot. Niva Espellosa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lucas Arnau having to make a save. After the first half ALASKU TSG were leading 1-7. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 52nd minute, Garip Kadrican made a precise shot to the right of Lucas Arnau. Velez Sport Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-8. Lucas Arnau was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Garip Kadrican showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-9 in the 55 minute of play. In the 58th minute, Akif Akın made a precise shot to the right of Lucas Arnau. Velez Sport Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-10. With a little luck, Velez Sport Club's Lucas Arnau got control of the ball when Niva Espellosa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Velez Sport Club's Lucas Arnau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niva Espellosa in the 70th minute of play. Niva Espellosa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lucas Arnau having to make a save. Niva Espellosa succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-11 in the 72nd playminute. Garip Kadrican struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Lucas Arnau didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ALASKU TSG. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dick Hagberg in the 79th minute of play forced ALASKU TSG's goalkeeper Francisco Barrionuevo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 81 minutes into the game, ALASKU TSG's Niva Espellosa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lucas Arnau made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-12. 84 minutes into the match, Niva Espellosa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lucas Arnau. Velez Sport Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Niva Espellosa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-13. When the final whistle sounded ALASKU TSG left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Velez Sport Club.
