Pedrinho Seedorf kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 35th match minute, Fluminense DF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emílio Pimenta to maneuver through the defense. Seb Hedges received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Carlisle Schultz came out and tried to block the shot, but Seb Hedges slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 38th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ingemar Kilman was the one to do the kick off. If Seb Hedges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 62 minutes, Remus Gavruță mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the DENVER™ and the Fluminense DF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dráusio Garcia ran over to the corner to take the kick. Mustafa Cumhur Gök made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingemar Kilman in the 95th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Fluminense DF players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for DENVER™.
