Afonsinho Marques showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Socorro, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fala Sério FC's goalkeeper Afonsinho Marques, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 8 minutes Filial Los Canarios's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Kauan Santos who took care of the corner kick. Reynaldo Martins was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. A collision led to Fala Sério FC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Benê Aguiar hit a great ball. 12 minutes into the match, Fala Sério FC's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Socorro came free, but Afonsinho Marques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Blaire Keegan got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Afonsinho Marques quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The supporters of Fala Sério FC booed when Filial Los Canarios was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodoro Ugartondo didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Socorro in the 24th minute of play forced Fala Sério FC's goalkeeper Afonsinho Marques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ubaldo Fillol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerome Rohrer in the 30th minute of the match. In the 37th minute Pedro Moraes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ubaldo Fillol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 41 minutes into the game, Julian Socorro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Filial Los Canarios's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fala Sério FC the free kick. In the 42nd match minute, Filial Los Canarios was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julian Socorro to maneuver through the defense. 45 minutes into the match, Filial Los Canarios's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Moraes came free, but Ubaldo Fillol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gonzalo Errando during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 55th minute, Gonzalo Errando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Fala Sério FC's Jerome Rohrer got a free kick in the 59th minute. Julian Socorro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 62 minutes into the game, Reynaldo Prestes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fala Sério FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Filial Los Canarios the free kick. After 62 played minutes Fala Sério FC got a freekick which was hit by Reynaldo Prestes. Blaire Keegan struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Afonsinho Marques didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Filial Los Canarios. When Benê Aguiar fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fala Sério FC's protests and gave Benê Aguiar a yellow card for diving instead. In the 66th match minute, Fala Sério FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benê Aguiar to maneuver through the defense. Fala Sério FC's Anísio Lara was substituted for Benê Aguiar. The audience was convinced that Raimundo Pernambucano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ubaldo Fillol was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. In the 81st minute Raimundo Pernambucano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ubaldo Fillol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anísio Lara charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anísio Lara the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 86 played minutes Fala Sério FC got a freekick which was hit by Anísio Lara. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonzalo Errando in the 87th minute of play forced Fala Sério FC's goalkeeper Afonsinho Marques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Raimundo Pernambucano put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ubaldo Fillol. 92 minutes into the match, Fala Sério FC's Kauan Santos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ubaldo Fillol narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
