Stamatis Pegiadis came free with the goalkeeper in the 18th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Guillen Aguillar could save by the left post. FC Germania Danzig's Karma Tarich got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldo Joinvilense in the 24th minute of play forced FC Germania Danzig's goalkeeper Birk Bodin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stamatis Pegiadis got free with Guillen Aguillar in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 28 minutes into the match, FC Germania Danzig's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Löhr came free, but Birk Bodin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47thth minute of the game Ronaldo Joinvilense who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Germania Danzig's Birk Bodin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ronaldo Joinvilense was the one to do the kick off.
