Jasper Morning scored 0-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benigno Moñiz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jasper Morning in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benigno Moñiz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Watchet's Sacha York played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hibai Treviño in the 11th minute of play. Sacha York stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nesor Para's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Watchet's goal looked a bit too open when Nesor Para came free, but Sacha York reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th minute, TABERNEROS RC's Nesor Para dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Jasper Morning's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benigno Moñiz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Benigno Moñiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roger Blowman in the 20th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Nesor Para took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Sacha York to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to TABERNEROS RC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Lalo Reyna hit a great ball. Barrie Stride took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 26th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Benigno Moñiz. TABERNEROS RC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After taking down the ball on Watchet's corner Barrie Stride fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Benigno Moñiz quite easily take care of the ball. Sacha York was a little too slow when Nesor Para got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 31st minute. The score was now 3-1. In the 34th minute, Jasper Morning ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benigno Moñiz was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. When Marcelo Igartua fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored TABERNEROS RC's protests and gave Marcelo Igartua a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Watchet's Clive Chalk got a free kick in the 40th minute. Watchet's Roger Blowman got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 44th minute, Jasper Morning got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joanes Miquel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sacha York having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roger Blowman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, TABERNEROS RC's goalkeeper Benigno Moñiz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jasper Morning. Sacha York didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nesor Para went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. Sacha York stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nesor Para's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Urti Piñera scored 5-2 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sacha York, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Watchet defense, Joanes Miquel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sacha York. The Watchet fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sacha York should have stopped the shot. In the 70th minute of the match, Jasper Morning got a very nice opportunity to score, but Benigno Moñiz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When Jasper Morning came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Watchet fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jasper Morning couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nesor Para in the 80th minute of play forced Watchet's goalkeeper Sacha York to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sacha York made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nesor Para in the 83rd minute of play. Nesor Para sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Roger Blowman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nesor Para received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Sacha York tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
